Free Postal Entry

Every PrizePals competition, including every instant win competition, can be entered for free by post, with exactly the same chance of winning as a paid ticket. You do not need to buy a ticket to enter or to win. Each competition page also has a Free Postal Entry tab, next to the ticket selector, with these details for that competition.

Before you post

You need a free PrizePals account. Your postal entry is added to your account, so your ticket number appears in My Tickets and we can contact you if you win. The details on your postcard must match the details on your account.

What to send

Handwrite the following on an unenclosed postcard (not in an envelope) and send it by first or second class post:

  • your full name, home address and date of birth
  • the email address and phone number on your PrizePals account
  • the name of the competition you are entering
  • your answer to that competition’s skill question
  • the words “I accept the PrizePals Terms and Conditions”

The rules that apply

  • Each postcard is one entry. You can send more than one free entry, up to the maximum number of tickets per person for that competition, which is the same limit as paid entries. Paid and free entries count together towards that limit.
  • Each entry must be sent on its own postcard. Several entries on one postcard, or several postcards sent together in one envelope, count as a single entry.
  • Each valid entry is given a ticket number and the same chance of winning as one paid ticket, including any instant wins. We add valid entries to your account within 2 working days of receiving them and email you your ticket number.
  • Entries must arrive before the competition’s closing date and time. We never extend a competition. Please allow enough time for second class post.
  • Entries that are incomplete, illegible, have an incorrect answer to the skill question, or do not match a PrizePals account cannot be entered.
  • We do not accept hand delivered entries. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

If you have any questions about postal entry, contact us before the closing date and we will help.
